This is one of my favourite paintings. I created this piece while studying art with my mentor. It was fascinating to learn how oil pastel blends with watercolour.

Not every stroke was predictable (notice the empty spaces in the detail shot below—where the watercolour didn’t stick so well), but the imperfection made it even more special.
